Damon Millard started doing stand-up in 2009 and has always done it his way. His first regular gig was as the resident host at Comedy Cafe in Milwaukee then he began touring the Midwest, opening for top headliners. In 2013, he left his day job to pursue comedy full-time. “Those first years were tough,” he says. “I burned through my savings, took any gig I could, and crossed my fingers waiting for that ‘big break’. I never got it. I knew if I had any chance of doing this in any serious way I had to carve my own path.” Damon started producing independent comedy shows at various venues that weren’t particularly suited for comedy and the challenge in doing so forced him to adapt, to work off the cuff and to connect to any kind of audience any night of the week.

In 2016, Damon released his debut album, Shame, Pain, and Love, which hit #1 on the iTunes comedy charts. Since then, he’s performed across the U.S. and internationally in Mexico and England. Known for his dark, cynical, and irreverent humor, Damon’s comedy leaves a lasting impression.
